LONG CO., GA (WTOC) -

A gag order is now in place in the case of a woman slain in 2010.

Investigators say Kenneth Lumpkin kidnapped his neighbor Lori Arrowood in September 2010 from her home. Arrowood's husband Nathon was a soldier deployed to Iraq at the time of the murder.

Lumpkin is charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and kidnapping in Arrowood's death.

Lumpkin was a family friend who was among the hundreds who helped search for Arrowood while her husband was in Iraq.

The gag order prevents both sides from talking to the media before the trial. Lumpkin is expected back in court this week and faces a possible death sentence.
