MCAS Beaufort non-commissioned officer pleads guilty to hazing charges

BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) -

A non-commissioned officer at the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort has pleaded guilty to charges of assault and two charges of violating the Marine Corps' anti-hazing policy. 

SSgt. Justin Samford was ordered to 45 days restriction and will forfeit two-thirds of his salary for a month. 

Samford and Gunnery Sgt. James McArthur were both charged last month following a six month investigation.

McArthur's court martial hearing is set for early September.
