CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

A Superior Court of Chatham County case manager was arrested Friday morning.

The arrest is in connection with warrants were signed Thursday night by Superior Court Judge Louisa Abbot, according to the office of Chief Judge Michael Karpf.

A warrant was issued at 7 a.m. Friday for the arrest Vevelyn Scarborough, a clerk who works in case management in the state court system.

Scarborough's work computer has been seized in connection with the warrants. Her arrest is in connection with a major drug case pending before the court, according to the judge's office.
