SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Jeremy Moody and his wife Christine are charged with targeting and killing a sex offender and his wife in Union County, South Carolina.

Deputies say the Moody's looked up sex offenders on South Carolina's sex offender registry so they could track them down and kill them. The charges came two days after a couple was found dead in their home in Summerville, South Carolina. The man who lived there, Charles Parker, was on the registry. The other victim was his wife.

Union County Sheriff David Taylor said the couple went to the home pretending to have car trouble, then shot and killed both victims.

The couple faces two counts of murder.
