SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

A murder case is now heading to trial after two Savannah men were indicted in the crime.

Terrell Nelson, 19, is charged with malice murder, felony murder and aggravated assault. His co-defendant Germaine Grant, 24, is charged with malice murder, felony murder and aggravated assault.

The victim, Achmed Williams, 27, was shot and killed in broad daylight on East 54th Street in March.  He himself was no stranger to the law. Back in June of last year, Williams plead guilty to a negotiated charge of voluntary manslaughter for the April 2008 shooting death of his 18-year-old brother.

Williams was given a three year sentence but credit for time served. He was set free the day he plead guilty and just 5 months later he was gunned down.
