DECATUR, GA (CBS46) -

Prosecutors and defense attorneys are expected to select a final jury of 12 - plus a handful of alternates - Thursday in the Andrea Sneiderman trial.

Judge Gregory Adams asked the remaining 42 people in the jury pool to report to the courtroom at 1:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, Adams announced opening statements will take place on Monday.

The Dunwoody widow was once charged with murder in the 2010 death of her husband Rusty. Adams dismissed the murder charges, however, after DeKalb County District Attorney Robert James said he lacked the evidence for a conviction.

Sneiderman now faces 13 lesser charges that include perjury and false statements. Prosecutors believe she lied to police and under oath about her lover's involvement in the murder. Hemy Neuman, who was Andrea Sneiderman's former boss, was tried in 2012 and is now serving a life sentence for the crime.
