BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) -

A third suspect has been arrested in connection with car break-ins that occurred between overnight July 8 in the Mill Creek neighborhood.

Bluffton police said William Wilson, 22, was arrested Friday afternoon and charged with 15 counts of breaking into a motor vehicle and one count of first-degree burglary for entering the garage area of a home at night and breaking into the vehicle there.

Police said Wilson's two accomplices Ray Altacho, 17, and Tevin Rivers, 18, had already been arrested and charged with the same offenses. Their bonds were set at $125,000 and they're being held at the Beaufort County Detention Center.

A large number of the stolen items were located at the time of Altacho's arrest and have been returned to their owners, according to police.

Wilson's bond hearing is scheduled for Saturday morning.
