2 men charged with two separate bomb threats

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Two Savannah men were arrested last week and charged with making two bomb threats as part of an FBI investigation. 

Harold Childers, 36, was charged with making a false statement to the FBI in connection with a bomb threat made on Sept. 18, 2012, at Southern States Phosphates on East President Street, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Georgia.

Lavontay Gatson, 20, is charged with calling a Walmart in Savannah on March 2 and making a bomb threat.

Childers faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Gatson faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
