Man charged after 4-year-old fatally shoots himself

DUNDEE, MI (Toledo News Now) -

A man has been charged in a child's death after the 4-year-old fatally shot himself in the head over the weekend.

Joshua Michael Greenhill owns the gun the boy used. He was charged with careless discharge of a weapon in Monroe County District Court Monday afternoon. The charge is a misdemeanor, which carries a 30-day jail sentence and a $2,000 fine.

Greenhill was released on his own recognizance.
