TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The recent victim of car theft in downtown Toledo says he hopes some video evidence might give police insight into who stole his car.

Last week, a resident of a townhome on South St. Clair - who wished to remain anonymous – had his car stolen. Inside were $1,000 worth of golf clubs. The owner decided to ask the townhome complex for a copy of the video surveillance.

The cameras captured a group of males on the street and property, looking inside cars with a flashlight .

Anyone with information that can help police find the thieves is urged to call Crimestopper at 419-255-1111. Useful information could lead to a cash reward.
