Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Dept.'s Central Precinct is holding its last Roll
Call in the Streets for the summer on Saturday.
will take place at West 38th Street and Montgomery Street at Wells
event will begin at 1 p.m., and the officer roll call will start at 2:30 p.m.
Precinct officers will be finishing up the Kids Prints art project, which will be
donated to the Children's Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center. There
will be several activities so officers can engage with community members.
Central Precinct Capt. DeVonn Adams launched the Roll Calls in neighborhoods within the precinct to enhance officers' relationships with residents in an effort to combat a spike in crime during the summer.
