Six schools in the Savannah area are up for the 2013 STEM education awards. The finalists were announced Friday by the Technology Association of Georgia.
"There is no doubt that technology is the future of Savannah and Georgia's economy. And people here are taking leadership and control of stem education. It shows that Savannah and Georgia have a great future," said Brady Cannon, programs director of the Technology Association of Georgia.
The winners of the second annual awards will be announced at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center on Sept. 27.
