BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) -

The Bluffton Police Department has arrested a man involved with an armed robbery at Walgreens.

Bluffton Police arrested Tyler Alexander Bredice-Beverly, 17, Saturday and charged him with armed robbery.

Bredice-Beverly was involved with the robbery of a Walgreens located on Fording Island Road on July 27.

Police say a man came into the store wearing a mask, claimed he had a gun and demanded money and cigarettes.

Customers standing nearby confronted the robber and before he could flee, those customers caused the robber's mask to come off his face.

Officials used still photos from the surveillance video to develop Bredice-Beverly as a suspect.

An on-going investigation helped detectives confirm Bredice-Beverly's involvement in the robbery.
