SCDOT gives update on Beaufort paving

BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) -

There is a traffic update on the paving project in Beaufort. 

The rest of the project has been put on hold. The South Carolina Department of Transportation says the contractor decided to leave the area until the first week of October. 

When they resume, work will begin on Charles and North streets. 

Paving on Bay and Lafayette streets has been completed.
