Poker run to benefit Coastal Conservation Assn. set for Saturday

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Coastal Conservation Association Georgia eight annual poker run takes place Saturday. 

The water poker run takes place from noon-4 p.m. The last card, winning hand and after party takes place from 4-6 p.m. 

It is presented by CCAGA Skidaway and Savannah Chapters, the Parrott Head Club of Savannah and Thunderbolt Marine. 

There are five stations. It's $10 per hand or $25 for three hands. Pay at your first station. At the final station, you may pay $10 to draw one more card to replace a car for your best hand. 

Participants can start at any water station and complete the first fourt station in any order. These water stations will have a CCA team member to let you draw a card:
*Bull River at Bull River Marina
*St. Augustine Creek and Wilmington River
*Wilmington River at the Landings Marina
*Wilmington River at Savannah Yacht Club

*Last card draw and final station at Thunderbolt Marine. You must be in line by 4 p.m. to draw your last card. 

A party will follow at the final station at Thunderbolt Marine. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided at the final station for everyone who participated and bought at least one hadn. 

Winning hand will win 50 percent of the pot. The other 50 percent will be donated to the CCA GA Advocacy Fund for Marine Conservation.
