SCAD starts fall quarter


Monday is the first day of class for students attending the Savannah College of Art and Design. 

New and returning SCAD students will kick off their 2013 fall quarter classes Sept. 16 at 8 a.m. 

The incoming class of freshmen, transfer and graduate students consists of approximately 2,400 students that represent 48 states and 62 countries.

A study conducted by the economic development consulting firm, Appleseed, revealed that in 2012, SCAD created a total economic impact on Savannah of $386 million.
