A coastal flood advisory is in effect for for much of the area on Tuesday night, bringing with it the potential for road closures.
High tide at Fort Pulaski is forecasted to be 8.4 feet. The high tide combined with the strong wind could put the water close to 9.2 feet. US 80 gets flooding at 9.5 feet.
These numbers aren't unusual for the area. However, the water will remain high for the next few days.
