Dougherty Co. Police: Do you know who owns this?

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An equipment trailer used to hold sodium hydroxide has been found in the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Drive in Albany, and Dougherty County Police want to know who it belongs to.

The trailer was found by a Public Works employee Tuesday in an area of tall grass by Robert Cross Park. does not have any identifying marks, and nothing like this has been reported missing.

"If anyone is missing a trailer of this type, [please] contact us," urged Dougherty County Sgt. Chad Kirkpatrick. "If they can show some type of proof of ownership or some identifying information on it, then we'll see about returning it to the owner."

Dougherty County Police also want to get more information on a motorized scooter. They recovered it during an ongoing burglary investigation.

A suspect has admitted taking it from a home in the Doublegate Country Club golf course area, but can't remember exactly where. Investigators hope the owner can give them more information.

If you recognize either the trailer or the scooter, call Dougherty County Police at 229-430-6600.
