In the Lowcountry, more than 2,300 Beaufort County high school students participated in the district's annual college fair.
From small private colleges to large public universities, 80 representatives from all over the country gave their best sales pitches to juniors and seniors at Bluffton High School.
The fair gave students a chance to learn more about academic programs, tuition costs and scholarship opportunities.
"There was one student who told me, 'I'm from Ohio and I saw Ohio State and I'm interested in that particular college so being able to have a diversity of colleges so that it can fit all needs for our students in the district," said N'kia Campbell, director of Academic Initiatives.
"I want to go to South Carolina, USC, and coming here today I found out that they have a really good law school and stuff and coming here today I got an idea of what I can do to get there," Keith Perry, a junior at Beaufort High School.
This is the fourth year of the school district has held the college fair.
