Prospective candidates speak to voters in Richmond Hill

RICHMOND HILL, GA (WTOC) -

Plenty of folks at the Richmond Hill City Center on Thursday got a chance to hear from people who want their votes.

Bryan County Republican Party hosted coastal candidates forum to introduce several people hoping to replace Jack Kingston in congress, or earn seats in Georgia's House and Senate.

In the crowd, some Richmond Hill High students wanting to learn more about the issues and getting involved in what for some is their first vote.

"Jobs especially in this economy. We need jobs, we need people. Richmond hill is a local place, but it's place we'd like to come back to, work here, raise our kids." said Austin Quick, first-time voter & high school senior.

WTOC's Sonny Dixon was the Master of Ceremonies for tonight's forum.
