PAL invites all animal, art lovers to 'Artisans Fur Animals'

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (WTOC) -

Palmetto Animal League invites all Animal and Art Lovers to its Artisans Fur Animals fundraiser on Oct. 4.

The event will be held from 5:30 until 8 p.m. at the Hilton Head Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Showroom at the New River Auto Mall. 

Artisans Fur Animals will feature the following:

  • Live auction of 15" high cats and dogs custom sculpted by Hilton Head artist Nancy Mitchell and whimsically painted by 30 Low country area artists
  • Silent auction of high quality artisan works
  • Complimentary gold, silver, jewelry and coin evaluations by Craig Burgess of A&C Gold and Diamonds
  • Drawings for beautiful gift baskets
  • An ETC boutique of Christmas items and select vintage items from PAL Thrift
  • Hors d'oeuvres by SERG catering, sweet treats by Teresa Brandow, and assorted wines & craft beers 

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door, and can be purchased in advance through the PAL website: www.palmettoanimalleague.org

Previews of the limited-edition cat and dog sculptures can be seen at Picture This Gallery, Cypress Square, Arrow Road, Hilton Head, from Sept.28 through Oct. 3.
