BLOOMINGDALE, GA (WTOC) -

A Tennessee man has been identified in a fatal dirt bike crash at the Big Nasty ATV park in Bloomingdale.

Michael Lee Myers, 33, of Mosheim, Tenn., was pronounced dead at Memorial Health University Medical Center shortly after he crashed his dirt bike. "Deputies arrived on the scene where they located an adult male unconscious suffering from injuries sustained on a dirt bike crash," Sheriff's spokesman David Ehsanipoor said.

"There is no indication any other vehicles or ATV's were involved but the investigation is ongoing by the Effingham County Sheriff's Office," Ehsanipoor said.

Myers was active duty in the US Army, Ehsanipoor said.

An autopsy will be performed at the GBI Crime Lab in Savannah on Monday morning.
