MCLB spells out shutdown impact

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Due to the Government shutdown, MCLB Albany will begin furloughing civilian employees today. Active duty personnel are not affected by the furlough.

MCLB stresses that EMERGENCY SERVICES SUCH AS FIRE AND POLICE ARE NOT AFFECTED.

"We're continuing to keep the faith here in hopes that the legislation comes through with the decision and brings our working family here back to work," said Public Affairs Officer Justin Jacobs. "Because we provide a great service here aboard the base, within this community, for the war fighter."

The chart below is provided to assist customers in determining what services will be affected.
