SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

One of Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Dept.'s Most Wanted was arrested on Oct. 1.

The U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Task Force and SCMPD K-9 unit apprehended Rashmael Okise Gardner, 20, at 908 Waters Ave. in Savannah.

Gardner had two separate warrants charging him with robbery with sudden snatching for incidents at F.P Wortley and Levy Jewelers in August 2013 where Rolex watches, valued at aproximately $42,000, were taken from both stores.

Task Force officers surrounded the home and gained entry looking for Gardner. An SCMPD K-9 unit was called in to assit in locating Garner, who was hiding in the attic. In the act of coaxing Gardner down, Gardner fell through the ceiling into the rear of the home, where he was promptly arrested without further incident.
