ATLANTA (WTOC) -

Applications are available online to those wanting to apply for Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids applications.

The applications are two new online offerings announced by the Georgia Departments of Human Services and Community Health. The forms are available at http://www.compass.ga.gov.

Georgia residents can continue to apply for Food Stamps (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families and Child Care and Parent Services on the website.

The PeachCare for Kids website, www.peachcare.org  is still available for those already enrolled who need to renew their PeachCare for Kids benefits and pay any premiums. PeachCare for Kids members can also call 877.427.3224 to update their coverage with changes and ask questions about the status of their benefits.

Georgians who are not eligible for Georgia Medicaid or PeachCare for Kids, but who are seeking potential health insurance options for themselves or their family should access the Federally Facilitated Marketplace. The FFM, or health insurance exchange, can be accessed online at www.healthcare.gov  or by calling 800.318.2596 or
TTY: 855.889.4325.

Those who don't have Internet access or who want a hardcopy of the Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids application mailed to them can call 877.423.4746 (for Medicaid) or 877.427.3224. Applications can also be picked up from Division of Family and Children Services county offices. Go to www.dfcs.dhs.georgia.gov and choose the office of the county in which you live.
