Author Nicholas Sparks to speak at Trustees Theater

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Best-selling author Nicholas Sparks is coming to the Coastal Empire Tuesday.

The special appearance event is set to take place Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Trustees Theater, sponsored by the Savannah Book Festival. 

Sparks, author of 11 New York Times No. 1 best-selling books, including "The Notebook, Message in a Bottle" and "The Last Song", is visiting Savannah as part of a national tour for his new book, "The Longest Ride". 

WTOC's Cyreia Sandlin will serve as the emcee for the event.
