BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) -

Four men were arrested and charged Monday in connection with an armed robbery that occurred outside a Bluffton gas station.

Beaufort County sheriff's deputies responded at about 12:30 a.m. to a robbery report at a Parkers at1286 Fording Island Rd. Dustin Tindell, 22, had been robbed at gunpoint by four suspects, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

Tindell had been putting gas in his car when the suspects pulled up behind him at the gas station. All four men, two of whom were armed with handguns, went up to Tindell and threatened to shoot him. They took Tindell's laptop, cell phone and wallet. Then  the suspects got back into their own vehicle and drove off.

Tindell was unharmed and contacted the sheriff's office. Using a tracking app on Tindell's phone, deputies determined that the suspects were in the area of the Hardeeville Walmart.

Hardeeville police and the Jasper County Sheriff's Office responded and located the suspects in the Walmart parking lot. They saw the stolen property inside the suspects' vehicle, according to the BCSO. The suspects were positively identified and taken into custody without incident.

Dequam Youmans, 24, of Beaufort; Shay Lamont Allen, 23, of Ridgeland; Darrell Maurice Darien, 24, of Pineland; and Robert Tramel Youmans, 25, of Varnville; were charged with one count of armed robbery. They remain in custody at the Beaufort County Detention Center, awaiting bond hearings.
