SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Man responsible for the wreck that killed a Georgia couple in February has been indicted in Chatham County Superior Court Wednesday afternoon.

Trevor Chase Cannon, 22,  has been indicted on two counts of homicide by vehicle in the first degree, two counts of serious injury by vehicle and one count of reckless driving.

Stephen Carrol Joyner and his wife Camie Barnes Joyner were killed and three more were injured when Cannon lost control of his truck and crossed the median and rolled over into a car on Interstate 516 on Feb. 22.

Major Accident Investigation Team officers from the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department said Cannon was driving eastbound at a high rate of speed and lost control of the blue 2002 Ford F-250 pickup.

The Joyner's daughter, Dakota Joyner, 3, was transported to memorial University Medical Center for treatment, as well as Irvin Williams, a motorcyclist that laid his motorcycle down to avoid the overturned truck.
