Pizza delivery driver robbed at gunpoint in Beaufort County

The Beaufort County Sherrif's Office is investigating the armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver.

Deputies met with the victim at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night. He told police that he was robbed at gunpoint as he attempted to deliver an order on Needles Road.

The victim was walking down the driveway of 2 Needles Rd. when he was approached by four black males in dark clothing. A shotgun was placed against his back while a handgun was pointed in his face.

The suspects demanded the victim give them everything he had. After handing over the food, his wallet and his cell phone, the suspects fled the area towards Cherokee Farms Road.

The victim was unharmed.

Police searched the area but made no contact with the suspects. Police contacted the residents of 2 Needle Rd., but they said no order had been placed from that address.
