BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) - The public is invited to review textsbooks and instructional materials that have been proposed for use in South Carolina's public schools.
The materials will be on display in 24 colleges and universities throughout the state through Nov. 15.
The materials can be viewed at the University of South Carolina-Beaufort Library located at 8 East Campus Drive in Bluffton.
The materials will be recommended to the State Board of Education for adoption on Dec. 11 by the Instructional Materials Review panels appointed by the board.
Instructions for submitting comments are available at the library, and State BOE members will review citizens' comments before making a final decision.
Materials in subjects such as agriculture, food, and natural resources, architecture and construction, business, marketing, social studies and logistics will be on review.
