Tara Cooper, who worked in the payroll department for the City of Albany, has been indicted for numerous counts of paying herself more money than she was entitled to, over the last three years.
Cooper has been dismissed from her post, and warrants are being issued for computer theft, computer trespass, and computer forgery.
The D. A. says she manipulated her employment status to giver herself more take home pay. Over $10,000 is involved, sources say.
