GLYNN CO., GA (WTOC) -

A mistrial could be possible as jurors are scheduled to begin a third day of deliberations in the trial of a Brunswick man charged with killing his father and seven others in a mobile home in 2009.

The jury of eight women and four men say they are deadlocked 9-3 as they weigh the murder charges against Guy Heinze Jr.

The jury is scheduled to return to the Glynn County courthouse at 9 a.m. Friday. They're trying to work through a deadlock after more than 17 hours deliberating over the past two days.

After dinner last night, the jurors decided to return to the hotel rooms where they've been sequestered without TVs, computers or cell phones since Oct. 15.

WTOC will be in the courtroom and let you know about any new developments in the case.
