Saturday at Savannah State, the Tigers celebrated Homecoming against North Carolina Central.
On the Tigers first play from scrimmage - Antonio Bostick to Jeremy Veals for 41 yards to the 32-yard line to set up a 22-yard field goal and a 3-0 lead.
In the second quarter, Bostick had to scramble out of trouble and then threw on the run, finding freshman Arshon Spaulding, Jr. from Brunswick at the 6 yard line. Spaulding had 2 receptions for 37 yards.
That set up Bostick with a touchdown pass to Edward Lackey, Jr., putting the Tigers in front 10-7. Bostick was 24-49 for 219 yards, a touchdown and and 2 interceptions.
North Carolina Central controlled the game for the rest of the game, winning 24-10.
The Tigers fall to 1-8 for the season and 0-5 in the MEAC.
