Shalom Y'all Jewish food festival

Posted: Updated:

Lots of good eats and nearly ten thousand people filled Forsyth Park in downtown Savannah Sunday.

Delicious Jewish delicacies filled every corner of Forsyth Park, at the 25th Annual Shalom Ya'll Jewish Food Festival, the largest of it's kind in the country. Through the tireless efforts of its members, the food festival is a devouring feast of over thirty Jewish foods, with many old family recipes.

"This is just wonderful, we share our Jewish culture through food and we just are so pleased to be part of one of Savannah's many festivals, and we actually in 2013 were voted best food event," said Toby Hollenberg, President of Congregation Mickve Isreal.

Besides the great food and items up for sale, visitors also enjoyed music from Savannah Philharmonics.
