CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) - Friday is the last day for early voting across Georgia.
The Chatham County Voter Registration Office on Eisenhower Drive is the early voting polling location for county residents. The penny sales tax is the big referendum on that ballot.
Mayor Edna Jackson and other city officials are urging voters to keep the Special Purpose Local Option Tax going for another six years. That would raise an estimated $370 million for local projects including a new $120 million arena for concerts and other events.
Election Day is Nov. 5.
