SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

New Details about a break-in from Thursday night in Savannah.

Police have arrested one man for stealing from a house off East DeRenne Avenue. They are still searching for two others who may have been involved.

It is the same home where two young girls were killed in a fire back in July.

A 13 year-old pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in that fire. Neighbors says after all this family has gone through, enough is enough.

"Just when you think things cant get worse, they do," said neighbor Gene Britton.

After a house fire claimed the lives of two young girls, the family who has lost so much, discovered their house had been broken into.

Thursday night, police arrested Eric Richard Fouche for burglary after finding a red pickup truck loaded with items taken from the house. Police searched the area with K-9 units and a helicopter but two others were able to get away.

Neighbors say it just goes to show, when it rains, it pours.

"They don't deserve that, but nice guys get stomped on. Hopefully things will get better in the future," said Britton.

WTOC spoke with members of the family who said this burglary was a tragedy, but they do feel sorry that this was a path that the suspects felt they had to choose.

WTOC also spoke with Fouche's wife who tells us her husband was contracted to help tear down the house and she believes this was all a misunderstanding.
