SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Chatham County Sheriff's Office is set to hold a press conference on Monday detailing a four month credit fraud involving seven victims and six suspects.

Investigation began in July into what CCSO deemed as suspicious activity. Britney Daughtry, a 25-year-old, was visiting the jail and regularly getting money out of different inmate accounts.

Investigations lead to the finding of five local inmates receiving deposits from stolen credit cars through the website jailatm.com.

A search warrant was issued for Daughtry's home and money, drugs, phones, and numerous corroborating documents were found identifying several victims.

The investigation revealed seven victims in the U. S. totaling to $18,550 fraudulently obtained between July 9 and July 24, 2013 by Britney Daughtry.

Investigators believe Kerry Akeem Milledge, along with another male inmate at Hays State Prison organized all of the transactions.

Felony charges have been charged to Daughtry and Milledge revolving this case. Four additional suspects face indictments of felony conspiracy to commit identity fraud.
