Neighbors are searching for answers while Thunderbolt Police remain tight lipped after a double fatal shooting early Monday morning.
Thunderbolt Police Chief Bob Merriman told WTOC they got a call reporting shots fired in the 3100 block of Robertson Avenue around 12:45 a.m. Monday.
When police arrived, they found both victims shot outside the home. The bodies were found on the red steps leading up to the black door near the front of the home.
One of the victims was pronounced dead at the home, and the other victim was transported to the hospital where they later died.
Neighbors told WTOC the two victims were a young couple. The Thunderbolt Police Department is not releasing the name of the victims until family can be notified.
