BEAUFORT CO., SC (WTOC) -

Deputies say two men, Matthew Major and Harold Ancrum, are now behind bars.

They're charged with robbing the Horizon Ed shop in Yemassee, but deputies say that may just be the beginning.

They're facing several other charges following Sunday night's armed robbery in Jasper County.

According to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office, Ancrum and Major led sheriff's deputies on a chase through the Bluffton area Sunday.

The chase started eastbound on May River Road, crossing through Buck Island Road and ending near the entrance to Hidden Lakes subdivision on Simmonsville Road.

Major, who deputies say was driving the vehicle, is charged with failure to stop for blue lights, driving without a license and fleeing to evade.

Ancrum is charged with possession of crack cocaine in Beaufort County.

Yemassee police officers are also in the process of charging Major with armed robbery.

They also plan to charge Ancrum as an accomplice.

No word yet on what the Jasper County Sheriff's Office will be charging both suspects with.

Ancrum and Major are scheduled for a General Sessions court appearance in Beaufort County on December 20th.
