One person is in custody following a joint operation between the Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team and the Pooler Police Department.

CNT was contacted earlier this month by Pooler Police concerning an investigation of a residential burglary that occurred in Pooler city limits. Detectives informed CNT Agents that valuable items were stolen from the residence, including a large number of firearms and a high-end Rolex watch.

The joint investigation resulted in the discovery of a potential suspect and house of interest, both located within Savannah city limits.

Late Thursday afternoon, CNT Agents executed a search warrant in the 1900 block of East ReRenne Avenue, where agents seized 19 firearms, large amounts of cocaine and marijuana and items commonly utilized in the distribution of controlled substances.

Also seized was the high-end Rolex and more than $1,600 in cash. All of the seized firearms were found to be stolen.

CNT arrested 21-year-old Breyon "Breezy" Gibbs of Savannah. He was charged with numerous felony related charges, including 19 counts of theft by receiving stolen property (firearm), trafficking cocaine and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Gibbs is currently being held in the Chatham County Detention Center.

The seized cocaine and marijuana have an estimated street value of up to $4,500.

Pooler Police Chief Mark Revenew thanked CNT in a statement for their help in the operation.

"Pooler Police thanks CNT for its assistance in this investigation.  Working partnerships like this show how sharing of information can help solve crimes," he said. "It's important to work together to help make the streets of Pooler and surrounding municipalities safer for our residents."
