HENRY COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A woman fled authorities Friday in Henry County, according to the Department of Public Safety.

Authorities say a Georgia State Patrol trooper driving northbound on I-75 saw an Infiniti weaving in and out of the emergency lanes at the GA 155 exit in McDonough.

Police identified 40-year-old April Lynn Darsey, of Guntersville, Al., as the driver.

According to police, after trying to make a traffic stop Darsey fled.

Troopers were able to eventually box Darsey in at the exit 221 ramp and she was taken into custody.

Darsey was charged with DUI, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving with a suspended or revoked license, failure to maintain lane, following to closely and having an open container.

There were no damages or injuries and she was taken to the Henry County Jail.
