Shooting Victim Was Executive Chef at Brasserie 529 - WTOC-TV: Savannah, Beaufort, SC, News, Weather & Sports

Thunderbolt shooting victims worked at downtown restaurant

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Police say they are looking into a few suspects, however, there still has not been an arrest in the double shooting in Thunderbolt that killed two people.

According to police, Alice Stevens and Forrest Ison were found shot in front of their home early Monday morning.

We have learned that both Stevens and Forrest worked at the Brasserie 529 restuarant on Liberty Street in Savannah. Co-workers tell us Ison was the executive chef and Stevens was a hostess and server and both had a major role in this growing restaurant.

"They were both just bubbly warm people. Really caring. They were always eager to help in any way they could. And our hearts and prayers go out to their families," said Chris Wells, their co-worker at the Brasserie 529.

This is still an on going investigation, however police say they do not believe this was drug related.
