Details about missing vehicles parked along the race course overnight is available at Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Dept. Barracks at Oglethorpe Avenue and Habersham Street.

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police remind drivers that parking will be difficult in areas around Forsyth Park, including Park Avenue and Bull, Duffy, Gaston and Drayton streets.

Both sides of Park Avenue have been closed between Drayton Street and Abercorn since midnight Thursday. Parking on those streets will stay closed until 6 p.m. Saturday.

For an hour and a half on Saturday, street construction on East President Street has parts of that street down to one-way headed west. Eastbound traffic will be diverted to Wheaton Street to get to President Street by going left onto East Gwinnett Street and turning north onto Pennsylvania Avenue, according to a SCMPD news release.

Vehicles parked on and around the race course could be towed if they are not removed by the posted times. Affected areas started transitioning back to normal parking on a rolling basis at about 10 a.m., but some areas may not be reinstated until as late as 4 p.m.

Owners will then have to get their vehicles directly from the towing company.
