Police: Man wanted in fatal shooting may be headed to Louisiana

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA (CBS46) -

Police tell CBS Atlanta News they are searching for a man who is wanted in connection to a fatal shooting in Lawrenceville.

Investigations said 40-year-old Ohave Whitfield fatally shot Alicia Johnson, 53, and injured her daughter 31-year-old Dana Johnson on Nov. 10 at a child's birthday party.

Most of the attendees had already left the party when the victims arrived.

Police believe Whitfield may be traveling to Shreveport, Louisiana. A felony murder warrant and an aggravated assault warrant have been obtained for his arrest.

He was last seen driving a Teal or Green Volvo S80 with a Georgia Tag: PRI4493.
