SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Bullying is an ever increasing problem in schools across America. But one former bullying victim is now teaching other victims how to stand up for themselves. Victoria Dinatale is an anti-bullying speaker who is working to end bullying.

"I actually heard a renowned criminal defense attorney say that bullying is part of the human condition bullying is not part of the human condition. There's something fundamentally wrong with a society that deems this weapon a bullying as child's play," Dinatale said. "If parents don't step in and teach their children that that it is unacceptable and there will be consequences if teachers don't stand up and say I am not accepting this in my classroom and we will see a lot more incidents of bullying."

WTOC's Dawn Baker has a special report where you can learn more about her powerful message and how you can help other victims. Watch THE News at 5 and 6. You can chat live with Victoria Dinatale online from 4-7 p.m. Join the live chat on WTOC.com right here.
