BEAUFORT CO., SC (WTOC) -

Bluffton Police responded to the Parker's gas station on 170 Evans Way at approximately 3:30 a.m. to find a white work van crashed into the front of the building.

Investigators are working with law enforcement from the Hardeeville area to confirm that this van was stolen from a heating and air company there.

Two suspects, which appear to be white or Hispanic males, entered the store after crashing the van. They unsuccessfully attempted to steal the ATM machine from inside the store.

The suspects attempted to leave the scene in the van, but when they noticed they could not dislodge the van from the storefront, they fled on foot.

Law enforcement is still searching for these two individuals. If you have any information about this incident, please contact Lt. Joe Babkiewicz at 843.706.4563 or Crimestoppers at 1.888.CRIME.SC or at www.sccrimestoppers.com.
