SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Metro police have reopened a portion of White Bluff Road after two large tree limbs fell onto the road Wednesday morning striking two vehicles.

Officials say an Atlantic waste truck was heading north down White Bluff Road at Echols Avenue when it hit two huge tree limbs on the side of the road, knocking them to the ground and hitting two other cars in the process. Luckily, no injuries were reported.

White Bluff Road was closed from Abercorn to Posey streets. City crew workers were called out with chain saws to help break down the large limbs for removal.

Metro police reopened the roads at about 10:30 a.m.
