New info about Thunderbolt shooting victim

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

WTOC is learning more about a young woman murdered in a double shooting in Thunderbolt.

This is the first time we are seeing a pictue of Alice Stevens, who was killed in front of her home on Robertson Avenue.

The Thunderbolt Police continue to say that they are looking at possible suspects, but still no arrests have been made.

Alice Stevens' mother sent us a letter, wanting us to know a little more about her daughter who died far too young.

Her mother, Dorthy Stevens, told WTOC that Alice Stevens was not only smart, caring and athletic, but she had a passion for animals.

Alice Stevens lived at her home on Robertson Avenue for the last two years with boyfriend Forrest Ison. Earlier this month police found the two shot in front of their home.

One died at the scene, the other was taken to the hospital and later died as well.

More than a month after this tragedy, neighbors on this street are still concerned that there has not been a break in the case.

"It is a little leery feeling, nervousness, because who ever committed that hideous crime, he or they need to be captured and put to justice," said neighbor Liz Cutter.

The mother also told us Alice's brother had his wedding the Saturday after she was killed, and instead of being in the wedding, Alice was burried the very next day.
