(RNN) - No. 3 Kentucky (7-1) travels to AST&T Stadium in
Arlington, TX, to face No. 20 Baylor on Friday night for a 10 p.m. tipoff. The
stadium will host the finals of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament in April.
Baylor has four players averaging double-figure scoring: The
6-9 Cory Jefferson scores 13.5 points and grabs 8.8 boards per outing; Kenny
Cherry averages 10 points and has dealt 39 assists, and is a 90 percent free
throw shooter.
Isaiah Austin, who is 7'1", is averaging 10.5 points and has
26 blocks and helps give the Bears an advantage around the hoop.
Kentucky is coming off a 79-65 win over Providence that saw
James Young score 18 points and Willie Cauley-Stein scored 15 and blocked nine
shots.
Julius Randle failed to make a double-double for the first
time in his college career, but will look to get back on track against the
Bears, who have an excellent inside-out game. They hit more than 44 percent
from 3-point range.
