Georgia Department of Public Health offers Nicotine Replacement Therapy kits

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Georgia Department of Public Health still has free four-week supplies of Nicotine Replacement Therapy in the form of nicotine gum or nicotine patches to all tobacco users in Georgia over the age of 18.

These kits are available to all regardless of insurance status, while supplies last.

Georgians who use tobacco and are ready to quit can contact the Georgia Tobacco Quit Line at 1.877.270.7867 for English, 1.877.266.3863 for Spanish, and 1.877.777.6534 for the hearing impaired.

The Georgia Tobacco Quit Line provides free and confidential and professional tobacco cessation telephone and web based counseling to all Georgia users ages 13 and older.

The Quit Line is available 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
